The word verified appears on almost every listing site and almost nowhere means anything specific. Here it means something you can check yourself on any profile. Below is exactly what gets verified, how, and what it does not cover.
Three levels, not one
A profile sits in one of three states: verification in progress, photos verified, or video verified. That is not an invented trust score. They are three different things that either happened or did not.
Photos verified means the pictures on the profile were checked against the material submitted at signup. Video verified means there is also a video showing that the person in the photos is the one running the listing. The second is far harder to fake, which is why it is marked separately.
The date sits next to the badge on purpose
Next to every badge is the month the check was done. A profile verified three weeks ago and one verified a year ago are not the same thing, and a badge without a date hides exactly that difference.
The choice stays yours. You just make it with the information in front of you rather than instead of it.
What happens after 90 days
A check does not last forever. Ninety days after the last one, the profile goes back into verification and the badge is downgraded until the process is repeated.
The practical effect: an abandoned profile does not stay marked as verified indefinitely. The badge says something about the present, not the past.
No photos, no badge
If a profile has no photos at all, the public level stays verification in progress, whatever is recorded internally. A photo or video check with no photos would have nothing to confirm, and a badge that confirms nothing is worse than none.
What verification does not cover
It confirms that the person in the photos is the one running the profile. It is not a guarantee of behaviour, availability or price, and it does not replace ordinary caution when meeting a stranger.
Any profile can be reported from its own page. Reports are read, and profiles that do not check out are suspended.
